A memo sent to the schools in November 2005 from the Board indicated that the $104 Ontario College of Teachers fee would be deducted from the two January 2006 pay periods. $52 will be deducted on January 12, 2006 and again on January 26, 2006 from permanent and long-term occasional teachers. Deductions for CPP and EI will begin again in January for teachers who had reached their contribution limit for 2005.

Unit Newsletter
The first issue of the 2005-06 Easterner will be published at the beginning of February. Submissions for the Unit newsletter should be sent to the Unit Office by courier or fax (1-613-258-0842) by Wednesday, January 25th, 2006.
