OECTA - BULLYING PREVENTION WORKSHOPS

In the new year, two workshops have been scheduled for Eastern Unit teachers who are interested in learning more about effective bullying prevention strategies for the classroom and school.  These workshops have been developed by a team of OECTA teachers from across the province.    

OECTA will provide occasional teacher coverage, lunch and mileage for teachers interested in attending.  The workshops will be held at the OECTA Unit office, 595 County Road 44, Kemptville (back of the Eastern Breeders building.)

The workshops are scheduled as follows:

Elementary Teachers’ Bullying Prevention Workshop:

Thursday, January 17th, 2008              (20 Spaces)

Secondary Teachers’ Bullying Prevention Workshop:

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008          (16 Spaces)

An additional 2 spaces have been allotted for Occasional Teachers.
