AQ Courses
Registration is now on-going for Summer AQ courses in Primary Education Part I, Reading Part I, and Special Education Part I. The location of the courses is listed as Kemptville, though this may change depending on the catchment area of registrants. To register go to www.oecta.on.ca.
Health and Safety Scholarship
Write a winning essay or design a poster to be eligible to win one of eight Workers Health & Safety Centre scholarships worth $1,000 each (four in each media category for a total of eight to be awarded) Any student residing in Ontario and beginning, in Fall 2008, their first year in full-time or part-time studies leading to a diploma, certificate or degree from any publicly-funded Ontario college or university is eligible to enter.
Deadline: Friday, June 6, 2008 4:00 p.m.

Collective Bargaining
We would like to thank the Collective Bargaining Team and the Table Team for all their work in preparation for the upcoming round of negotiations. The provincial framework has been negotiated and integrated into our local agreement. The exact terms of this agreement is still confidential, but will be made public soon. An overview of our initial proposal was shared at the Unit General Meeting held in Kemptville on April 22nd.
Table Team: Barb Dobrowolski, Andrew Donihee, Dale Fobert, Ken O’Brien, Daniele Rae, Jim Roy, Mary-Lynn Sauve. Our provincial representative at the table is Grace da Silva.
