Transfer Requests 
Just a reminder that voluntary transfer requests are to be submitted to the Director of Education by April 1st.  (Article 33.03)
                       
Bullying Prevention Symposium in Ottawa
OECTA’s bullying prevention initiatives continue with a Bullying Prevention Symposium to be held at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa on April 11th and 12th.
Eastern Unit has 9 spots- 3 Elementary, 3 Secondary, and 3 Occasional Teachers.  If you are interested in attending the symposium please contact the Unit Office immediately.  Spots will be filled on a first come- first serve basis.

Retirement Workshop
A reminder that Eastern will be hosting a retirement workshop on Saturday, April 4th, in Kemptville.  Call the Unit Office if you wish to attend.  Details can be found in a previously sent notice.

AQ Courses
Registration is now on-going for AQ courses in Primary Education Part I, Reading Part I, and Special Education Part I.  The location of the courses is listed as Kemptville, though this may change depending on the catchment area of registrants.  To register go to www.oecta.on.ca .
