Teachers as Leaders Symposium March 27-28, 2007

This is an opportunity for teachers to take a leadership role in determining the priorities for OECTA in using Ministry PD funds to benefit teachers. Eastern Unit Executive can approve attendance for eight teachers, with Provincial Office sponsorship. To ensure Eastern’s voice in decision-making, we want to fill our slate of delegates. For more information on the symposium, see www.oecta.on.ca.

If interested in attending the symposium, please forward your name to the Unit Office with a paragraph stating your background in PD (i.e. lifelong learning pursued; leadership; etc.) and your reason for interest in participating in establishing PD priorities at the provincial level. Permanent and occasional members are invited to participate.
