Smartboard Workshop Interest Overwhelming
Interest in the February 18th Smartboards Workshop has been overwhelming. The twenty-five spots available for participants filled up within the first day of posting.

Currently there is a waiting list of over 30 teachers wanting to attend.

OECTA is in discussions with the Board to try to arrange a second workshop to be held at a later date. Teachers on the waiting list will be considered first once a second workshop date and location can be arranged. The same restrictions will apply. (No more than two teachers from any one school.)

Due to the volume of calls received, it will be impossible for us to contact every teacher to confirm admission to the workshop on February 18th. We will publish a list of successful applicants this week, as soon as this list is approved by the school board.

Thanks to all of you who called in with interest in attending. Every effort is being made to accommodate teachers on the waiting list with a second workshop.
