Inclement Weather
 
Friday was an unusual circumstance, in that an inclement weather day fell on a Professional Development Day.  There was no need, therefore, to cancel buses, however the protocol per Clause 41.03 of the Collective Agreement was still in effect.  That article states that teachers “will make a reasonable effort to report to the school”. 

If you were unable to make it to your school due to the inclement weather, you are to complete an inclement weather form the next school day.  This will ensure that you are not docked a sick day, and that your absence is correctly attributed to the inclement weather.

Staff Rep In-service
