OECTA Elementary Bullying Prevention Workshop-
January 17th

There are still spaces available for teachers interested in attending the Elementary Bullying Prevention Workshop to be held on Thursday, January 17th, at the OECTA Unit Office in Kemptville.  This workshop provides an overview of the nature and scope of bullying in Elementary schools and connects effective bullying prevention strategies to the Ontario Catholic curriculum and safe schools implementation.  Costs associated with attending the workshop (Occasional teacher coverage and mileage) will be covered by OECTA.  Lunch will also be provided.

Seeking AGM Delegates

There are four spaces still available for teachers who wish to attend the OECTA Annual General Meeting on March 8th through 10th in Toronto.  Please contact the unit office by Friday if you are interested.  It is always an enlightening experience- an opportunity to get a bit more involved in the workings of the Association and to get to know teachers and issues from across the province.
